Jyoti’s saga of hydro turbines began way back in early 60’s. The first Project to install was a 4 X 50 kW project with Francis turbines of a design head of 23 m head at Himachal Pradesh in 1961.

Fully established & recognized inhouse R&D Centre has developed various hydraulic models on its own and upgraded the product range. Jyoti obtained self sustainability and pioneered in design, manufacture, supply and installation of various types of hydro generating equipments.

We offers full range of hydro turbines and other auxiliary equipments. We offer complete concept to commissioning services like design, manufacture, supply, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the hydro projects for different heads and outputs with wide range of turbines including Kaplan, Francis, Pelton, Turgo impulse turbines.

Jyoti is one of very few organizations to manufacture all the major equipments for hydro project like Turbine, Generator, Main Inlet Valves, Switchgear and control panel thus offering complete turnkey solutions for small hydro projects economically.

Our installations are spread across India, Bhutan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Nepal, etc. and so far more than 430 installations totally amounting to about 450 MW of hydro power
