The R&D Centre, first of its kind in India, to be set up in Private Sector in 1964, has enabled Jyoti to offer technology products to the market. It is also recognized by DSIR (Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India).

Our philosophy is to promote technological self-reliance and develop products and technology appropriate to tropical conditions. A number of products have been developed at our R&D Centre through application oriented market Research & Development. We are continuously improving our design methodology using latest engineering analysis tools and experimental test results.

Technical Information Center

This centre provides facilities like back-volumes as well as current technical literature and periodicals, to caters the needs of R&D Engineers / Scientists. It contains total 12000 collections of technical literature.

Jyoti’s E-Design Center

Jyoti R&D center has always aimed at 'Virtual Development' through the use of specialized design, analysis, and simulation software techniques. Use of state-of-art Information Technology has helped Jyoti to continuously upgrade product technology in terms of performance, Quality and Cost.

Success of Jyoti's Engineering and R&D finds impetus from its E-Design Center, which is supported by over 40 experts from various functional areas.

Jyoti’s E-Design center is the first of its kind in the western region of the country. The center aims at virtual engineering by providing CAD / CAM / CAE solutions i.e to improve designs, manufacturing process and enhance the product quality vis-à-vis reducing costs and time.
